Why you should be worried about antibiotic resistance.

You may be reading through the rest of this website and wondering why you should care that antibiotic resistance. This should be extremely worrying to you, since I’m sure almost everyone would agree infections were a lot more worrying years ago before we started using antibiotics to fight them. So, if the issue of antibiotic resistance doesn’t improve then these infections that could have been life threatening years ago will become extremely dangerous again and these infections will be deadly without a readily available cure.  If infections become completely resistant to antibiotics then there could be a strong possibility of mass destruction for our population.  You may have heard about such things as the black plague or Ebola and if bacteria develop enough resistance to become “super bacteria” then many more infections could be as dangerous as those previously mentioned.
